Pro Boxing Show XVI

2015 10 30 1On December 5th in the metropolitan concert club "Stereo Plaza" (Kiev,  Krasnozvezdny ave. 119) a great boxing show under the aegis of the Donetsk promotion company "Union Boxing Promotion" will be held. During the main bout the 34-year-old Ukrainian boxer Oleg Yefimovich (26-2, 14 KOs) will contest the right to own a vacant EBU featherweight title belt.

A 36-year-old Spanish boxer of Dominican origin Ruddy Encarnacion (35-23-4, 17 KOs), who owned until recently the EBU-EU title, will be his opponent in the title fight.

Oleg Yefimovich has already owned the EBU featherweight title.
He got this title in July 2008, by knocking out Spanish boxer Sergio Blanco, and carrying out 4 successful defenses in a row.

2015 10 30 2Ruddy Encarnacion became the champion of Spain in the first lightweight category in 2012 and later defended this title three times more. In 2014 he got the European championship belt one weight category below and held a successful defense. It should be noticed, that Ruddy was not defeated in 13 fights in a row, and won in the last three-and-a-half years 12 times and had one split.

Apart from the European featherweight title in the fight between Yefimovich and Encarnacion the title of Continental WBA champion in the same weight category, owned by the Ukrainian boxer, will also be at stake. Let us remind that Oleg got the WBA Continental belt in July of this year in Kiev, having defeated his opponent from Finland Tuomo Eronen(14-4, 5 KOs) by points decision.

2015 10 30 3There will be two title fights in the forthcoming show in which the Ukrainian boxers representing the "Union Boxing Promotion" company are involved.

Artem Dalakyan the 28 years featherweight knockout master (11-0, 7 KOs) who is a stranger to defeats on a pro-ring and a very promising boxer, will defend his WBA Continental flyweight title.
